Harbor seals (Phoca vitulina) are considered to be “true
seals” meaning they don’t have external ear flaps like sea lions and fur
seals do. They are awkward on land but graceful in the water. While
diving, they are able to slow their heartbeat and close their nostrils,
allowing them to stay underwater for almost 30 minutes. They are even
able to sleep underwater for short periods of time.

Toney
is a friendly, intelligent girl who loves her food. She is a pretty
even tempered girl and gets along with basically anyone, making her
generally easy to work with. Emmy was her pup with Oskar. She was an
adorable, curious little baby and was well loved.
